Who we are

Graz University of Technology pursues top teaching and research in the fields of science and engineering. One field of expertise is “Sustainable Systems”. The activity of the institute comprises the whole field of the construction materials. One of the research priorities relates to sustainable construction. The institute is active in the work of CEN/TC350 and ISO/SC17. Therefore one of the main tasks in the project has been the contribution to work on performance assessment. Together with the SME partner the application in practice and policies were carried out with focus on best practice objects concerning energy and materials technology. Members of the institute are active in numerous national technical bodies of experts as well as in international committees.

Our role in the project

TUG has been providing feedback on implementation of the project tasks, ensured the flow of information in their area of responsibility and provided documentation for interim and final reporting. TUG also participated in the regular and internal meetings. TUG has the know how to be incorporated in education and training programmes. They are building on extensive European cooperation with universities and research capacities throughout the EU, as well as on their own research and pedagogical practice.
