Database of trainers and certified trainees

A database of all trained trainers and all certified trainees passing the training courses in the area of energy efficiency and use of renewable resources was set up in Slovakia and Czech Republic: https://database-ingrees.eu. The database facilitated companies – suppliers of works and services in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy in buildings and other relevant stakeholders to search for a trainer delivering training or to verify acquired qualification and certificates of the trainee. The database as a register of top certified professionals also became a reference tool for evaluation and comparison of qualifications of experts in construction sector.

The database was used for the project ingREeS´s purposes as a data source to collect important information about courses, their attendees and trainers. All data was collected under the Personal Data Protection Act and related legislation in all partner countries of the project. Data were collected mainly from the users themselves (trainers and training participants) upon their registration.

The goals of the training of trainers was:

  • to acquaint professional professionals from the Czech Republic and Slovakia with educational modules and author’s approaches to module issues,
  • a discussion on the pedagogical concept of providing training modules,
  • direct interaction between a group of trainers and professionals and, on the other hand, the authors of the training modules on the objectives and content of the training,
  • providing feedback to the author of the modules.
